Privacy Policy (Draft)

Version 1.0-draft — last updated September 9, 2026

What we collect

Your username, display name, and role on this platform. We do not collect government ID numbers, religion, family information, or other sensitive personal data, and we don't ask for more than we need to provide the course.

How we use it

To authenticate you, show you the right workspace for your role, and maintain an audit trail of account activity (logins, content edits, privacy requests) for security purposes. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

What's stored where

Your account, login history, consent records, and any privacy requests you submit are stored in our database. Your course progress — XP, completed labs, milestone status — is currently stored only in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers, and is not included in a data export from here.

Your rights

You can download a copy of your data, request a correction, or request account deletion at any time from your Privacy Dashboard. Deletion requests are reviewed by an administrator rather than processed instantly, so that any records we're legally required to retain (audit logs, for example) can be handled correctly.

Security

Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Every login attempt and every privacy-relevant action is logged with a timestamp and IP address for security auditing.

Contact

For privacy questions or complaints, use the "Privacy complaint / grievance" option on your Privacy Dashboard, or contact the platform operator directly at the address they've provided you.
